Spring Term 1

Week 6:

A brilliant week in Class 5 this week. We looked at E-safety and the different things we need to do to stay safe online, especially when gaming. We studied China as part of our other cultures week and the class have begun writing reports about the culture of China as well as cooking a beautiful Salt and Pepper chicken. Then to finish it off we kicked off our new topic with a trip to Eden Camp to being looking at World War 2.

Week 5:

This week we have been forensic scientists and have practised harvesting the fingerprints of our friends. We then wrote a set of instructions to help others with this.

Week 4:

This week in Class 5 we have combined our Spanish and ICT skills to go online and do some shopping. We used our  favourite shopping sites to decide on different clothes we would like to buy and then created posters describing those clothes with Spanish vocabulary.

Week 2:

This week has been a very busy week in Class 5. We have been thinking about persuasive writing and each group has created a short presentation to persuade you of the benefits of DNA editing.

Week 1:

A great start to the new term. We have been finding out all about fingerprints: how they form, what they are used for and how the different patters can be used to identify individuals. The children have all created sketches of their own finger prints and created power points  with information about finger prints.

One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in a diverse and ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
