Week Beginning 12.7.2021

This week we had our very own Seaside Day! We had paddling pools, hook-a-duck, tin can alley, sunbathing, bunting, sandcastle competitions, seaside chips and ice-cream!!! It was such a beautiful day. Enjoy the photos smiley

Week Beginning 5th July 2021

This week we all made our own rockets and then went onto the big field to test which one was the one to travel the longest flight! Everybody in school took part in The Rocket Challenge.

We re-created God's Wonderful World and made The Land, The Sea and The Sky. Follow the link below to sing our Creation song.

A very active week this week with more skipping challenges and our Sports Days too! 

Week Beginning 21.06.2021

This week we read "Elmer" and talked about how important it is to celebrate our differences as that is what makes us all so special. We drew posters of all the special people in our lives and made the new children in our class feel welcome. We also found out about another religion- Islam. We know about Ramadan and made symbols for Ramadan which is a moon and star.

We have been investigating what our hands can do and talking about our senses. Do you know what our 5 senses are?

Week Beginning 14.06.2021

Welcome back everyone for our final half term of this school year. What a year it has been! Hopefully we will have lots of fun in the sun during our last few weeks as we have some exciting activities planned for our seaside topic smiley

We have been learning how to describe the properties of 2D shapes and enjoyed a challenge called "Jig Shapes"- some people found this much harder than they thought it would be! Everyone succeeded in the end through sheer determination!

We have enjoyed the story "Peace at Last" by Jill Murphy. Next week we are going to act it out.

In Science we discovered which animals belong to what animal group. We know about birds, fish, mammals, reptiles and amphibians.
