Week 7
Looks like we made it! What a busy term it has been.Well done to all the children for all the hard work they put in this term.
We finished the term with a Christmas Nativity this week.We also had a trip to Mercedes Benz and thoroughly enjoyed riding different vehicles.
We can’t wait to see everyone back in 2020! Merry Christmas everyone!!
Week 6
We had yet another busy week getting ready for the Christmas fayre. The children have worked very hard to make things to sell and raise some money for the school.We also had a visit from Dogs Trust who came to talk to use about looking after our dogs and how to stay safe around them.
Week 5
This week we put up our Christmas decorations.and started rehearsing for our Christmas Nativity.
We had a friendly and well behaved elf delivered to our class.We are working hard to make good choices because we know the elf will be reporting back to Santa. We also learnt about Christingles.
Week 4
This week Class 1 had their class assembly. They made all the teachers and their families very proud! They were so confident to stand and perform in front of their families and classes 2 and 4.There were no tears (apart from tears of joy and pride from teachers and family members). A massive well done to all the children and a big thank you to the family members who came to support us. We finished the week with an exhibition of Nativity cribs. We got a chance to look at cribs from all around the world.
Week 3
This week to launch our new topic 'Are wevthere yet?', parents came into school and helped us make junk model vehicles. Thank you to all the parents who came to support us.
Week 2
In Maths, we were learning about number bonds. In R.E we were learning about what a baptism candle symbolises. We also enjoyed raising money for Children in need.
Week 1
We kick started this half term by looking at fireworks 💥! We looked at how we can keep ourselves safe around fireworks and bonfires. We learnt some fireworks songs and made a 'Bonfire '.
We also enjoyed learning some Taekwondo moves.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
