Literacy

In Literacy we have been on a poetry discovery journey. We have studied Haikus, Limericks and Cinquains and had a go at writing our own for our own poetry bash. We then studied free verse and in particular Kit Wrights the Magic Box. We looked at the structure and the features that the author used and we reworked and recreated our own versions of the poems which some of us have performed below.

Maths.

In maths we have been looking at common factors and common multiples. We have used our knowledge of these to help us also identify prime number sin our number squares below. this will be the perfect lead in to our multiplication and division topic.

PE

In PE we have been looking at exercise and the theory behind why people exercise. We put our bodies through 4 different stations designed to test a different piece of ur fitness. We then became personal trainers and helped others in the class in the area they felt they needed improving on to help improve each others performance.

Here we are creating our own fitness stations and circuits.

Science

In Science our topic has been all about Space we have looked at many complex arguments and studying the understanding about space and earth through time. We have looked at the history and the scientists behind the heliocentric vs geocentric argument.

Below you can see us working on the flat earth debate and completing research on the history from early civilisations to know for a flat or round earth.
