Week 8- Today, we presented Father Declan with a a piece of Art to thank him for helping us with out RE this term. We thought about how Father Declan shows commitment to his faith, and we made a 'Hands of Commitment' display to show our thanks. He loved receiving this after our Harvest assembly this afternoon!
Week7- We had a visit from Moose today! First, we took part in an assembly and learnt all about how Newfoundlands had adapted to be fantastic swimmers. Then, Moose visited our classroom and we all got to have a cuddle. It was the perfect end to our week!

Week 6- We loved our transition day at St Pius! We had a taster session of RE, English and Geography.
Week 5- Yesterday, we responded to our big question of 'Do we have to earn love?' by considering who shows us unconditional love. To show thanks for this, we made them a thank you card. If you were lucky enough to recieve one, I hope you loved it!
Week 4- Hoyland Hall Residential Home visit: Yesterday, we were lucky enough to vist Hoyland Hall Residential Home. We chatted with the residents, visited those who felt more comfortable in their rooms and even did some crafts with them. The experience was amazing for bith the children and the residents. As we left, the staff commented on how polite the children were. I felt very proud of them!
Week 3- We've really enjoyed developing our netball skills this week. We can now chest, bounce, overhead and shoulder pass and successfully follow the rules of footwork!

One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in a diverse and ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
