Our Class Advent Calendar and Waiting RE Display
Our Class Advent Calendar doors are on our RE display ready for the start of advent on Monday. We can't wait!
D&T Wheels and Axles
This week, we have started our D&T topic on Wheels and Axles. We explored different shapes and how suitable they would be to use for a wheel. We then developed cutting skills by shaping wheels.

Week 3
Our Class Advent Calendar
This week, Class 2 have started our new RE topic called Waiting. We have created a class Advent calendar, designing and decorating the numbers for the doors. Inside we have written ways we can show love during Advent.

Our Class Assembly
This week, Class 2 led a brilliant class assembly to parents, carers and the whole school on the learning we have completed so far in Class 2.
Everyone should be very proud of their hard work and contributions. Well done Class 2!

Week 1
Hot-seating the goblin from The Wishgranter
This week, Class 2 have started our work in Literacy on Character Description. We have explored a story called The Wishgranter which is told in a silent video.
We delved into our story in depth, completing an oracy session in which we learnt new words and defined them using an action and simple definition.
Also, we completed a hot-seating session (as you can see in the photos) in which one pupil took on the role of the goblin from The Wishgranter video and we asked questions to find out more about the goblin, what happened to him and how he was feeling.
Well done Class 2 on making an excellent start to our new writing unit!
