Our Promise
We will protect play, value childhood, and provide an ambitious, nurturing EYFS where every child can thrive.
EYFS Curriculum
Our EYFS curriculum is designed to celebrate every child’s individuality while offering a strong, structured, and ambitious foundation for learning. Through inspiring teaching, rich environments, and collaborative relationships, we ensure all children in FS1 and FS2 are given the best possible start to their education.
EYFS Provision
Our EYFS provision is rooted in a warm, nurturing philosophy that places the child at the centre of all we do, recognising each child as unique, capable and made in the image of God, in line with Catholic teaching. Inspired by The Curiosity Approach and the work of Greg Bottrill and Alistair Bryce-Clegg, we create a rich, purposeful environment that values wonder, awe and deep-level engagement through open-ended, real-life resources. Our classroom reflects a home-from-home environment, carefully designed to feel calm, safe and inviting, where children develop a strong sense of belonging and emotional security. We prioritise a therapeutic classroom display, using neutral tones, natural materials and meaningful child-led work to reduce cognitive overload and support wellbeing. Through this approach, we foster independence, resilience, curiosity and respect, supporting children’s spiritual, emotional, social and academic development as they grow and flourish.
