Class 4 is a vibrant and welcoming class made up of children from Year 4 and Year 5. We are a diverse group of enthusiastic learners who enjoy working together and taking part in a wide range of exciting and engaging activities. Our classroom is a busy, positive environment where children are encouraged to challenge themselves, develop independence, and celebrate success.
Mrs Finney is the class teacher, supported by Mrs McKenzie and Mrs Warris.
PPA cover is provided by Mrs Robinson.
To help your child be fully prepared each day, please ensure they have the following:
Full and correct school uniform
Please refer to the school uniform policy for further details.
Book bag
Checked daily for letters and important information.
Reading book
Changed on a weekly basis.
Reading diary
Children are rewarded for reading regularly at home. We encourage reading at least three times per week.
PE kit
Brought to school on Monday and taken home on Friday.
PE lessons take place on Tuesday and Friday afternoons.
For safety reasons, earrings must be removed for PE sessions.
Water bottle
Water only, please.
Break-time snack
A healthy snack such as fruit, raisins, or a cereal bar.
Homework
Sent home every Wednesday and due back the following Tuesday. Homework will include:
Times tables practice using TTRS minimum 15 mins per week
Arithmagicians app use minimum 15 mins per week
Reading at least 3 times per week
Spelling practice and using spelling shed
