In RE this week we have continued to look at our Come and See topic 'Meals'. We have specifically looked at Holy Communion and how we prepare to have this special meal in church. Week 1

Geography: Identifying Human Geographical Features

This week, Class 2 have started lots of new learning including our new Geography topic on comparing the UK to China – From London to Beijing.

We completed a pre-assessment to check our prior Geographical understanding and we have approached our enquiry question for the first time this half-term:

How can people care for the place that they live in?

Our first lesson focused on knowing that things that are not natural are man-made and are called Human features. So, Class 2 were given a variety of features from the UK including, Tower Bridge and Ben Nevis and they identified which things were human features.

Well done Class 2 on your excellent start to our Geography topic!
