RE Mission: You Visited Me - Our Visit to Hoyland Hall Residential Home

This Wednesday, Class 2 got the opportunity to visit Hoyland Hall Residential Home to read with the residents.

We visited with the aim of achieving our RE class mission which is ‘You visited me’ as well as demonstrating the school’s Christian values and applying the children’s phonic knowledge to reading.

Class 2's first visit to Hoyland Hall Residential Home was a great success! Everyone had a lovely time reading and talking to the residents. Class 2 should be proud of their reading skills as well as the kindness and respect they showed to the residents.

Well done Class 2 and thank you to everyone at Hoyland Hall Residential Home for welcoming us into your home and reading with Class 2!
