What a busy week we have had!

This week we were busy taking part in different Christmas themed activities.

Week 6

This week, we made our Christmas cards and calendars. We also had our dress rehearsal for our Nativity, ‘A Miracle in Town’. We are looking forward to our final performance next week.

Week 5

In Maths we were looking at Number Bonds. We looked at Systematic number bonds within 10 and used manipulatives to support our learning.

Week 4

In R.E we were learning about the importance of waiting.

In Maths this week, we used the Part-Whole Model to explore Place Value. 

In DT, we looked at moving parts and considered how we could improve movement on our toy cars.

In Science, we looked at animal classifications. We explored I can the features of reptiles.

Week 3

This week, we in English, we wrote Character Descriptions about a character called, ‘The Wishgranter’

In Science we looked at identifying the features of fish.

Week 2

This week, in R.E, we looked at Other Faiths and focused on Judaism. We looked at stories about Moses. We learnt about how Moses helped the children of Israel to get freedom and explored why Moses is important to Jewish people today.

Week 1

This week, in English, we started a new unit (Character Description) based on a story called, ‘The Wishgranter’. We explored the vocabulary and developed our Oracy skills through retelling the story. We also used a WAGOLL to develop our Writing Rubric.

In P.E, we explored pathways in dance.
