Parish Information

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is part of the Parish of Corpus Christi within the Catholic Diocese of Hallam. Our school works closely with the parish and we have strong links with our church community and parish priest.

The Corpus Christi Parish is made up of three distinct communities, these are:

Parish Priest: Fr. Declan Brett (2018)

Fr. Declan Brett was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Ralph Heskett at St. Marie’s Cathedral on 21 April 2017. Fr. Declan served his curacy concurrently at St. Peter-in-Chains – Doncaster, Our Lady of Perpetual Succour – Bentley, and Blessed English Martyrs – Askern. Bishop Ralph appointed him Priest-in-Charge of the Corpus Christi Parish on 21 October 2018. Fr. Declan was appointment Parish Priest on 25 April 2020.
