Week 6
This week, we concluded our History and Diversity topic on Changes within Living Memory.
We compared Victorian school equipment to modern-day equipment. Also, we compared lessons from different times.
Class 2 have worked very hard this half-term, have a wonderful half-term break!

Week 5
This week, Class 2 have continued our learning in Science on Living things and their habitats.
We described microhabitats and then, we also compared things tthat were living, dead and have never been alive.
Excellent work this week Class 2 scientists!

Week 4
This week, Class 2 explored pitch by creating two pitch patterns. We took it in turns to explore virtual and real glockenspiels, noticing which part of the instruments created high and low sounds. We lifted our arm high to identify high sounds and low for low sounds. Then we made patterns based on superhero names.

Week 3
This week, Class 2 have created maps from memory or imagination to start our new Art topic Map it Out. They were very proud of their artwork and wanted to share it with parents and carers.

Week 2
This week, we have learnt about edges in our 2D and 3D shape topic. We identified and counted edges on 3D shapes, investigating whether all 3D shapes have an even amount of edges.

Week 1
โโโโโโWell done on returning to school ready to learn after the Christmas holiday Class 2!
This week, Class 2 listened to and became familiar with the story of Epiphany when the Wise Men visited Jesus. The children were given a section of the story and re-enacted their part, in a small group, for our class.
