In Art, the children were using the technique of scratching lines on a wax resist they had made in a previous lesson.
Week ending 21st march 2025
Year 5 pupils visited St. Pius on Tuesday where they had a day full of science and enjoyed the practical experiments. They read the electrical charge produced by different liquids, and tested what happened to different types of paper in water. The theme was waste and looking after our planet in a more sustainable way.

Week ending 14th March 2025
In Art this week, the children made some observational drawings using charcoal and rubbers.
For improved presentation of his work, this young man received the "Reach for the Stars" award.
