This week, we celebrated Wear it Pink Day. In support of Breast Cancer Now.
We all showed our support and made donations on the raffle/bake sale.
Week 7

We really put our times tables knowledge to the test this week! On Friday, we participated in Rockstar Day! We saw some excellent costumes and really concentrated on just how important our times tables are.
We also mummified tomatoes! We can't wait to come back and see what they're like.
Week 6

Class 5 joined a webinar with Hannah Gold this week. Last year, some children in Class 5 read one of Hannah's books: The Lost Whale. This time in her webinar, Hannah was talking about her new book Turtle Moon. She spoke about her adventures and a Turtle Conservation Specialist joined the conversation and told us all about what we can do to help these endangered animals!

WEAR BRIGHT FOR HARVEST
This week, we showed our support for CAFOD, wearing bright for Harvest and making a donation to support people in need.
Week 4

This week class 5 joined a webinar with Katherine Rundell. We asked her lots of questions about her new book 'Impossible Creatures' and found out all about her journey to becoming an author!
Year 6s also visited St Pius for a taster day! They participated in lots of different lessons throughout the day.
Week 3

Class 5 participated in a workshop this week looking at healthy peer relationships. We spoke about what healthy relationships look like and how we identify positive friendships.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
